श्रद्धया परया पार्थ द्विजेभ्यः संप्रयच्छति । शतकोटिगुणं पुण्यं कोटितीर्थप्रभावतः । कोटितीर्थे प्रतिश्रुत्य द्विजेभ्यो न प्रयच्छति
śraddhayā parayā pārtha dvijebhyaḥ saṃprayacchati | śatakoṭiguṇaṃ puṇyaṃ koṭitīrthaprabhāvataḥ | koṭitīrthe pratiśrutya dvijebhyo na prayacchati
ஓ பார்த்தா, இங்கு பரம நம்பிக்கையுடன் பிராமணர்களுக்கு தானம் அளிப்பவன், கோடிதீர்த்தத்தின் மகிமையால் நூறு கோடி மடங்கு புண்ணியம் பெறுவான். ஆனால் கோடிதீர்த்தத்தில் வாக்குறுதி செய்து பின்னர் பிராமணர்களுக்கு அளிக்காதவன் பெரும் பாபத்திற்கு உரியவன் ஆவான்।
