अस्य तीरे द्विजं चैकं मृष्टान्नैर्यश्च तर्पयेत् । तेन श्रद्धासहायेन कोटिर्भवति तर्पिता
asya tīre dvijaṃ caikaṃ mṛṣṭānnairyaśca tarpayet | tena śraddhāsahāyena koṭirbhavati tarpitā
இந்தப் புனிதத் தீரத்தில் யார் ஒருவர் சிறந்த அன்னத்தால், நம்பிக்கையுடன் ஒரே ஒரு பிராமணரையும் திருப்திப்படுத்தினால், அவனால் கோடி பிராமணர்கள் திருப்தியடைந்ததற்குச் சமமான பலன் உண்டாகும்।
