अहो मोहस्य माहात्म्यं पश्यताविजितात्मनाम् । पठंति मातृकां पापा मन्यंते न सुरानिह
aho mohasya māhātmyaṃ paśyatāvijitātmanām | paṭhaṃti mātṛkāṃ pāpā manyaṃte na surāniha
அஹோ! தம்மை வெல்லாதவர்களில் மோகத்தின் மகிமை எத்தகையது—பாவிகள் ‘மாத்ரிகா’வை ஓதுகின்றனர்; ஆனால் இங்கே தேவர்களைச் சிறிதும் ஏற்கவில்லை।
