अमी च देवाः सर्वत्र श्रौते मार्गे प्रतिष्ठिताः । पाषण्डशास्त्रे सर्वत्र निषिद्धाः पापकर्मभिः
amī ca devāḥ sarvatra śraute mārge pratiṣṭhitāḥ | pāṣaṇḍaśāstre sarvatra niṣiddhāḥ pāpakarmabhiḥ
இத்தேவர்கள் எங்கும் ஸ்ரௌத (வேத) மார்க்கத்தில் நிலைபெற்றவர்கள்; ஆனால் பாஷண்ட சாஸ்திரங்களில் பாபகர்மங்களால் எங்கும் தடைசெய்யப்பட்டவர்களெனக் கூறப்படுகின்றனர்।
