तस्यां दत्तं हुतं चेष्टं सर्वमेवाक्षयं मतम् । सर्वदारिद्र्यशमनं भास्करप्रीतये मतम्

Transliteration

tasyāṃ dattaṃ hutaṃ ceṣṭaṃ sarvamevākṣayaṃ matam | sarvadāridryaśamanaṃ bhāskaraprītaye matam

Translation

அந்தத் திதியில் அளிக்கும் தானம், ஹோமத்தில் அர்ப்பணிக்கும் ஆஹுதி, செய்யும் எந்த தர்மச் செயலும்—அனைத்தும் பலனில் அక్షயமெனக் கருதப்படுகிறது. பாஸ்கரன் திருப்திக்காகச் செய்யப்படுவது எல்லா வறுமையையும் நீக்கும் எனச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.
