त्रयोदशी नभस्ये च कृष्णा सा हि कलेः स्मृता । युगादयः स्मृता ह्येता दत्तस्याक्षयकारकाः
trayodaśī nabhasye ca kṛṣṇā sā hi kaleḥ smṛtā | yugādayaḥ smṛtā hyetā dattasyākṣayakārakāḥ
நபஸ்ய மாதத்தின் கிருஷ்ணபக்ஷத் திரயோதசி கலியுகத்தின் தொடக்கம் என ஸ்மரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இவை ‘யுகாதி’ திதிகள்; இந்நாள்களில் செய்யும் தானம் அక్షய பலன் தரும்.
