खे वाणी चाभवत्तत्र पुष्पवर्षपुरःसरा । प्रालेय तव हेतोस्तु सोमनाथसमं फलम् । उत्थितं सागरतटे लिंगं तिष्ठात्र सुव्रत
khe vāṇī cābhavattatra puṣpavarṣapuraḥsarā | prāleya tava hetostu somanāthasamaṃ phalam | utthitaṃ sāgarataṭe liṃgaṃ tiṣṭhātra suvrata
அப்போது மலர்மழை முன்னே செல்ல, ஆகாயத்தில் தெய்வவாணி ஒலித்தது— “ப்ராலேயா! உன் காரணமாக இங்கே கிடைக்கும் பலன் சோமநாதப் பலனுக்கு ஒப்பாகும். கடற்கரையில் எழுந்த இந்த லிங்கம் இங்கேயே நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும், ஓ சுவிரதா!”
