नृत्यंति देवि पद्माक्षि प्रसीदेति पुनःपुनः । ततः प्रसन्ना सा देवी व्रियतां स्वेच्छयाऽह तान्
nṛtyaṃti devi padmākṣi prasīdeti punaḥpunaḥ | tataḥ prasannā sā devī vriyatāṃ svecchayā'ha tān
அவர்கள் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஆடிக்கொண்டே—“தேவி, தாமரைநேத்திரி, அருள்புரிவாயாக!” என்று வேண்டினர். அப்போது மகிழ்ந்த தேவி—“உங்கள் விருப்பப்படி வரம் தேர்ந்தெடுங்கள்” என்றாள்.
