पुण्यं तान्येव भूतानि ग्रसंत्याक्रम्य देवताः । ततो देवाः क्षुधार्त्तास्ते गुहायैतन्न्यवेदयन्
puṇyaṃ tānyeva bhūtāni grasaṃtyākramya devatāḥ | tato devāḥ kṣudhārttāste guhāyaitannyavedayan
அதே பூதகணங்கள் தேவர்களின் புண்ணியத்தை மிதித்து விழுங்கத் தொடங்கின. அப்போது பசியால் வாடிய தேவர்கள் இந்த நிகழ்வை குகனிடம் அறிவித்தனர்.
