अहंकारं च संसेव्य सात्त्विकीं सिद्धिमश्नुते । राजसास्तामसाश्चैव त्याज्याः कामादयस्त्वमी
ahaṃkāraṃ ca saṃsevya sāttvikīṃ siddhimaśnute | rājasāstāmasāścaiva tyājyāḥ kāmādayastvamī
சாத்த்விகமான அகங்காரத்தைப் பயின்றால் சாதகன் சாத்த்விக சித்தியை அடைவான். ஆனால் ரஜஸ்-தமஸ் உந்துதல்களான காமம் முதலியவை நீ முற்றிலும் துறக்கவேண்டும்.
