कृशोतीव गलत्कुष्ठी प्रमुह्यंश्च पदेपेद । नंदभद्रमुवाचेदं कृच्छ्रात्संस्तभ्य बालकः
kṛśotīva galatkuṣṭhī pramuhyaṃśca padepeda | naṃdabhadramuvācedaṃ kṛcchrātsaṃstabhya bālakaḥ
அச்சிறுவன் மிகுந்த ஒல்லியனாய், குஷ்டம் சீழ் வடிந்து, அடியெடுக்கும் போதெல்லாம் மயங்கி விழும் நிலையில் இருந்தான்; பெரும் சிரமத்துடன் தன்னைத் தாங்கி நந்தபத்ரனிடம் இவ்வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னான்।
