इति ज्ञात्वा महाभागत्यक्त्वा शल्यानि कृत्स्नशः । भज रुद्रं वर्णधर्मं पालयास्मात्परं न हि
iti jñātvā mahābhāgatyaktvā śalyāni kṛtsnaśaḥ | bhaja rudraṃ varṇadharmaṃ pālayāsmātparaṃ na hi
மகாபாகனே! இதை அறிந்து, உள்ளத்தின் எல்லா ‘சல்ய’ங்களையும் (முள்ளுகளையும்) முழுதாகக் களை. ருத்ரனைப் பக்தியுடன் வழிபட்டு, உன் வர்ணத்திற்குரிய தர்மத்தைப் பேணி நட—இதற்கு மேல் எதுவும் இல்லை.
