स सदा नंदभद्रस्य विलोकयति चांतरम् । छिद्रं चेदस्य पश्यामि ततो धर्मान्निवर्तये
sa sadā naṃdabhadrasya vilokayati cāṃtaram | chidraṃ cedasya paśyāmi tato dharmānnivartaye
அவன் எப்போதும் நந்தபத்ரனின் உள்ளத்தை நோக்கி குறை தேடினான். ‘அவனில் ஒரு சிறு பிளவையாவது கண்டால், அவனை தர்மத்திலிருந்து விலக்குவேன்’ என்று எண்ணினான்.
