मन्यंते वै पापकृतो न कश्चितपश्यतीति नः । तांश्च देवाः प्रपश्यंति स्वस्यैवांतरपौरुषाः
manyaṃte vai pāpakṛto na kaścitapaśyatīti naḥ | tāṃśca devāḥ prapaśyaṃti svasyaivāṃtarapauruṣāḥ
பாவம் செய்பவர்கள் ‘எங்களை யாரும் காணார்’ என்று எண்ணுவர்; ஆனால் தேவர்கள் அவர்களைப் பார்க்கின்றனர்—தன் உள்ளார்ந்த செயல்களுக்கும் மறை முயற்சிகளுக்கும் சாட்சிகளாய்।
