वह्न्युक्तं विन्यसेन्मंत्रमभिशस्तस्य मूर्धनि । अंगुष्ठांगुलियोगेन तप्तमाषं समुद्धरेत्
vahnyuktaṃ vinyasenmaṃtramabhiśastasya mūrdhani | aṃguṣṭhāṃguliyogena taptamāṣaṃ samuddharet
அக்னியைச் சார்ந்ததாக விதிக்கப்பட்ட மந்திரத்தை குற்றஞ்சாட்டப்பட்டவனின் தலைமேல் நிறுவ வேண்டும். பின்னர் பெருவிரலும் விரலும் சேர்த்து காய்ந்த மாஷகத்தை எடுத்தெடுக்க வேண்டும்.
