नमस्कारादिसंयुक्तं रविरित्यक्षरद्वयम् । जिह्वाग्रे वर्तते यस्य सफलं तस्य जीवितम्

namaskārādisaṃyuktaṃ ravirityakṣaradvayam | jihvāgre vartate yasya saphalaṃ tasya jīvitam

Translation

வணக்கம் முதலியவற்றுடன் கூடிய ‘ரவி’ எனும் இரண்டெழுத்துச் சொல் யாருடைய நாவின்முனையில் எப்போதும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதோ, அவனுடைய வாழ்க்கை பயனுறும்.
