क्षुत्तृट्क्लेशेन महता संत्रस्ताश्च सदा मृगाः । पशुनागनिकायानां श्रृणु दुःखानि यानि च
kṣuttṛṭkleśena mahatā saṃtrastāśca sadā mṛgāḥ | paśunāganikāyānāṃ śrṛṇu duḥkhāni yāni ca
பசி-தாகத்தின் பெரும் வேதனையால் மிருகங்கள் எப்போதும் அஞ்சித் துடிக்கின்றன. இப்போது மாடுகள் மற்றும் யானைகளின் கூட்டங்களுக்கு உரிய துயரங்களையும் கேள்।
