वर्षाणां विंशतिर्याति धर्मकामार्थवर्जितः । आगन्तुकैर्भवैः पुंसां व्याधिशोकैरनेकधा
varṣāṇāṃ viṃśatiryāti dharmakāmārthavarjitaḥ | āgantukairbhavaiḥ puṃsāṃ vyādhiśokairanekadhā
இருபது ஆண்டுகள் தர்மம், காமம், அர்த்தம் இவற்றின்றியே கழிந்துவிடுகின்றன. பின்னர் மனிதன் பலவகை எதிர்பாராத நிலைகளால்—நோய்களாலும் துயரங்களாலும்—மேலும் சிதைகிறான்.
