सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः
satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ
எப்போதும் சத்தியம் பேச வேண்டும்; எந்நாளும் நட்புணர்வை வளர்க்க வேண்டும்; தொடர்ந்து சிரமமும் கலக்கமும் தரும் செயல்களை விட்டு விட வேண்டும். இவ்வுலகில் நாள் எவ்வாறு செல்கின்றதோ, அவ்வாறே அடுத்த உலகும் அமையும்; ஆகவே ஞானிகள் ஆழ்ந்த யோகத்தால் ஆத்மாவை ஆராதிக்க வேண்டும்.
