नैकवस्त्रश्च भुंजीत नाग्नौ होममथाचरेत् । न चार्चयेद्द्विजान्नैव कुर्याद्देवार्चनं बुधः
naikavastraśca bhuṃjīta nāgnau homamathācaret | na cārcayeddvijānnaiva kuryāddevārcanaṃ budhaḥ
ஞானமுள்ள பக்தன் ஒரே ஆடை அணிந்து உணவு கொள்ளக் கூடாது; அக்னியில் விதிக்கு மாறாக ஹோமமும் செய்யக் கூடாது. நியமம் குலைந்த நிலையில் பிராமணார்ச்சனையோ தேவார்ச்சனையோ செய்ய வேண்டாம்.
