युगभावात्तथा ध्याने स्वल्पीभूते शिवस्य च । वृक्षांस्तान्पर्यगृह्णंत मधु वा माक्षिकं बलात्
yugabhāvāttathā dhyāne svalpībhūte śivasya ca | vṛkṣāṃstānparyagṛhṇaṃta madhu vā mākṣikaṃ balāt
யுகத்தின் இயல்பினாலும், சிவனின் தியானப் பிரசன்னம் குறைந்ததாலும், அவர்கள் வலுக்கட்டாயமாக அந்த மரங்களைப் பிடித்து, தேனீகள் செய்த தேனை எடுத்துச் சென்றனர்.
