एवं ते भूतवद्देवा न हि गृह्णन्ति कर्हिचित् । शुचि कामं जुषंते न हविरश्रद्दधानतः
evaṃ te bhūtavaddevā na hi gṛhṇanti karhicit | śuci kāmaṃ juṣaṃte na haviraśraddadhānataḥ
இவ்வாறு தேவர்கள் அதை எந்நேரமும் ஏற்கார்; அது பூதங்களுக்கு அளித்ததுபோல் ஆகும். அர்ப்பணம் தூயதாக இருந்தாலும், நம்பிக்கையின்றி செலுத்திய ஹவியை அவர்கள் உண்ணார்.
