dvau mārgau kila vedeṣu proktau kālo'rcireva ca | arciṣā mokṣamāyāṃti kālamārgeṇa karmaṇi

வேதங்களில் உண்மையாக இரண்டு பாதைகள் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன—காலப் பாதை மற்றும் அర్చி (ஒளி) பாதை. அర్చிப் பாதையால் மோட்சம் அடைவர்; காலப் பாதையால் மீண்டும் கர்மத்தில் திரும்புவர்.
