snātvārṇavamahītoye tasya syānmanasepsitam | kārtike ca caturddeśyāṃ kṛṣṇāyāṃ śraddhayānvitaḥ

கடல்நீரிலும் பூமியின் புனித நீர்களிலும் நீராடினால் அவன் மனம் விரும்பியது நிறைவேறும்; குறிப்பாக கார்த்திக மாதம் கிருஷ்ணபட்ச சதுர்தசியன்று श्रद्धையுடன் செய்தால்.
