जनस्तपस्तथा सत्यमिति चाकृतकं त्रयम् । कृतकाकृतयोर्मध्ये मर्हर्लोक इति स्मृतः
janastapastathā satyamiti cākṛtakaṃ trayam | kṛtakākṛtayormadhye marharloka iti smṛtaḥ
‘ஜன, தப, ஸத்ய’—இந்த மூன்றும் ‘அக்ருதக’ (உருவாக்கப்படாத) உலகமென அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. க்ருதகமும் அக்ருதகமும் இடையில் ‘மஹர்லோகம்’ என நினைக்கப்படுகிறது.
