ततो रात्रिः क्षयं याति वर्धते तु दिनं दिनम् । ततश्च मिथुनस्यांते परां काष्ठामुपागतः
tato rātriḥ kṣayaṃ yāti vardhate tu dinaṃ dinam | tataśca mithunasyāṃte parāṃ kāṣṭhāmupāgataḥ
அதன்பின் இரவு குறையத் தொடங்கி, நாள் நாளாகப் பகல் பெருகுகிறது. பின்னர் மிதுனத்தின் முடிவில் அவன் பரமக் காஷ்டையை அடைந்து, உத்தர இயக்கத்தின் உச்ச எல்லையை எட்டுகிறான்.
