asya liṃgasya māhātmyaṃ śrāddhakāle tu yaḥ paṭhet | pitṝṇāmakṣayaṃ jāyate nātra saṃśayaḥ

ஸ்ராத்த காலத்தில் இந்த லிங்கத்தின் மகிமையைப் பாராயணம் செய்பவனுக்கு, பித்ருக்களுக்கு அழியாத பயன் உண்டாகும்—இதில் ஐயமில்லை.
