पातालस्य तलं निन्ये तत्र शिश्ये स काष्ठवत् । ततश्चक्रेण दैत्यानां निहता दशकोट्यः
pātālasya talaṃ ninye tatra śiśye sa kāṣṭhavat | tataścakreṇa daityānāṃ nihatā daśakoṭyaḥ
அவன் பாதாளத்தின் அடித்தளத்திற்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டான்; அங்கே மரக்கட்டைப் போல அசைவின்றிக் கிடந்தான். பின்னர் சக்கரத்தால் தைத்யர்களின் பத்து கோடி பேர் கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.
