आसीच्च निश्चितं तेषां जितमस्माभिरित्युत । तार कस्याप्यभिप्रायं भगवान्वीक्ष्य शंकरः
āsīcca niścitaṃ teṣāṃ jitamasmābhirityuta | tāra kasyāpyabhiprāyaṃ bhagavānvīkṣya śaṃkaraḥ
அவர்களுக்கு உறுதியான எண்ணம் ஏற்பட்டது—“நிச்சயமாக நாமே வென்றோம்.” ஆனால் பகவான் சங்கரர் தாரகனின் உள்ளார்ந்த நோக்கத்தையும் உணர்ந்தார்.
