इत्युक्तस्तं तथेत्याह तुष्टः कमलसंभवः । इत्युक्तोऽमरतां मेने दैत्यराज्यस्थितोऽसुरः
ityuktastaṃ tathetyāha tuṣṭaḥ kamalasaṃbhavaḥ | ityukto'maratāṃ mene daityarājyasthito'suraḥ
இவ்வாறு கூறப்பட்டதும் மகிழ்ந்த தாமரையில்பிறந்த பிரம்மன் “ததாஸ்து” என்றான். அதை பெற்ற தைத்யராஜ்யத்தில் நிலைத்திருந்த அசுரன் தன்னை அமரன் என எண்ணினான்.
