येषामेवंविधाबुद्धिरस्माभिः किं कृतं त्विदम् । अथ वा नो न दोषोऽस्ति पशवो हि वयं यतः
yeṣāmevaṃvidhābuddhirasmābhiḥ kiṃ kṛtaṃ tvidam | atha vā no na doṣo'sti paśavo hi vayaṃ yataḥ
இத்தகைய புத்தியுடைய நாங்கள் என்ன ‘செய்தோம்’ என்று சொல்ல இயலும்? அல்லது எங்களுக்குக் குற்றமில்லை—ஏனெனில் நாங்கள் இறுதியில் மிருகம்போல் (வசப்பட்ட) உள்ளோம்.
