देवा ऊचुः । योऽसौ वज्रांगतनयस्त्वया दत्तवरः प्रभो । भृशं विप्रकृतास्तेन तत्त्वं जानासि तत्त्वतः
devā ūcuḥ | yo'sau vajrāṃgatanayastvayā dattavaraḥ prabho | bhṛśaṃ viprakṛtāstena tattvaṃ jānāsi tattvataḥ
தேவர்கள் கூறினர்—பிரபோ! அவன் வஜ்ராங்கனின் புதல்வன்; நீர் வரம் அளித்தவனே. அவனால் நாங்கள் மிகுந்த துன்பத்திற்குள்ளானோம்; ஆயினும் நீர் தத்துவத்தைத் தத்துவமாகவே அறிவீர்।
