tato jaladharairvyoma sphuradvidyullatākulaiḥ | gaṃbhīrākṣasamādhāraiścābhyapūryata modinī

பின்னர் மின்னல் கொடிகளால் நிறைந்த மழைமேகங்கள் வானத்தை நிரப்பின; ஆழ்ந்த முழக்கமுடைய பெருவெள்ளத் தாரைகளால் மோதி்னீ (பூமி) மூழ்கினாள்।
