चिच्छेद शतधाऽकाशे शरैरग्निशिखोपमैः । ततश्च शरजालेन देवेन्द्रो दानवेश्वरम्
ciccheda śatadhā'kāśe śarairagniśikhopamaiḥ | tataśca śarajālena devendro dānaveśvaram
அக்னி நாவுகளைப் போன்ற அம்புகளால் அவன் அவற்றை ஆகாயத்திலேயே நூறு துண்டுகளாக வெட்டினான். பின்னர் தேவேந்திரன் அடர்ந்த அம்புவலையால் தானவேஸ்வரனைத் தாக்கினான்।
