प्रवेपमानेन मुखेन युज्यताचलेन गात्रेण च संभ्रमाकुलः । ततस्तु तस्यास्त्रवराभिमंत्रितः शरोर्धचंद्रः प्रसभं महारणे
pravepamānena mukhena yujyatācalena gātreṇa ca saṃbhramākulaḥ | tatastu tasyāstravarābhimaṃtritaḥ śarordhacaṃdraḥ prasabhaṃ mahāraṇe
அவன் முகம் நடுங்கியது; உடலும் நிலை குலைந்தது; அச்சத்தால் கலங்கினான். அப்போது மகாபோரில் மந்திரத்தால் ஆற்றலூட்டப்பட்ட, அரைச்சந்திர வடிவான, சிறந்த ஆயுதமான அம்பு அவன்மேல் வலிமையுடன் பாய்ந்தது.
