पितॄन्देवांस्तर्पयंति शोणितैश्चामिषैः शुभैः । केचिदामिषराशिस्था दृष्ट्वान्यस्य करामिषम्
pitṝndevāṃstarpayaṃti śoṇitaiścāmiṣaiḥ śubhaiḥ | kecidāmiṣarāśisthā dṛṣṭvānyasya karāmiṣam
சிலர் பித்ருக்களையும் தேவர்களையும் இரத்தத்தாலும் சிறந்த மாமிசத்தாலும் திருப்திப்படுத்தினர். மற்றவர்கள் மாமிசக் குவியல்களில் நின்று, பிறரின் கையில் உள்ள மாமிசத்தை ஆசையுடன் நோக்கினர்.
