नारद उवाच । इति सारस्वतप्रोक्तां तथा पद्मभुवेरिताम् । साधुसाध्वित्यमोदंत सुराश्चाहं सुविस्मिताः
nārada uvāca | iti sārasvataproktāṃ tathā padmabhuveritām | sādhusādhvityamodaṃta surāścāhaṃ suvismitāḥ
நாரதர் கூறினார்—ஸாரஸ்வதர் உரைத்ததும், அதேபோல் பத்மபூ (பிரம்மா) உறுதிப்படுத்தியதும் ஆகிய அந்த வாக்கை கேட்டுத் தேவர்களும் நானும் மிகுந்த வியப்புடன் ‘சாது! சாது!’ என்று கூறி மகிழ்ந்தோம்.
