अनर्हते यद्ददाति न ददाति तथार्हते । अर्हानर्हपरिज्ञानाद्दानधर्मो हि दुष्करः
anarhate yaddadāti na dadāti tathārhate | arhānarhaparijñānāddānadharmo hi duṣkaraḥ
அர்ஹனல்லாதவர்க்கு தானம் செய்து, அர்ஹனுக்குத் தானம் செய்யாதபோது, அர்ஹன்–அனர்ஹன் எனப் பிரித்தறிதல் கடினமாதலால் தானதர்மம் நிறைவேற்றுதல் உண்மையிலே கடினமாகிறது।
