इन्द्र उवाच । संप्राप्तोऽतिविमर्दोऽयं देवानां दानवैः सह । कार्यं किमत्र तद्ब्रुहि नीत्युपायोपबृंहितम्
indra uvāca | saṃprāpto'tivimardo'yaṃ devānāṃ dānavaiḥ saha | kāryaṃ kimatra tadbruhi nītyupāyopabṛṃhitam
இந்திரன் கூறினான்—“தேவர்களுக்கும் தானவர்களுக்கும் இடையில் இக்கடுமையான மோதல் எழுந்துள்ளது. நெறியும் உபாயமும் கொண்டு உறுதிப்படுத்தி, இங்கு என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று சொல்.”
