Transliteration

nānāvādyaparisyaṃdasāgresaramahārathāḥ | nānāśauryakathāsaktāstasminsainye mahārathāḥ

Translation

அந்த சேனையில், பலவகை வாத்தியங்களின் பெருக்கெழும் ஒலிக்கிடையே முன்னணியை நடத்தும் மகாரதர்கள் இருந்தனர்; அந்த வல்ல வீரர்கள் பலவித வீரக்கதைகளைச் சொல்லுவதில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தனர்.
