आदित्याश्चादितेः पुत्रा दितेर्दैत्याः प्रकीर्तिताः । दनोश्च दानवाः प्रोक्ता राहुः सिंहीसुतो ग्रहः
ādityāścāditeḥ putrā diterdaityāḥ prakīrtitāḥ | danośca dānavāḥ proktā rāhuḥ siṃhīsuto grahaḥ
ஆதித்யர்கள் அதிதியின் புதல்வர்கள் எனக் கூறப்படுகின்றனர்; தைத்யர்கள் திதியின் புதல்வர்கள் எனப் புகழப்படுகின்றனர். தனுவிலிருந்து தானவர்கள் தோன்றினர்; கிரகமான ராகு சிம்ஹிகையின் மகன்.
