अरे जडमते मा त्वं पुनर्ब्रूहीति याह्यतः । इत्युक्तोपि कुमार्या स नातिष्ठन्मदनातुरः
are jaḍamate mā tvaṃ punarbrūhīti yāhyataḥ | ityuktopi kumāryā sa nātiṣṭhanmadanāturaḥ
“ஏ மந்தபுத்தியே! மீண்டும் பேசாதே; இங்கிருந்து போய்விடு.” என்று கன்னி சொன்னபோதும், காதல் காய்ச்சலால் துடித்த அவன் அங்கிருந்து அகலவில்லை.
