पुरा वेदशिरा नाम मुनिरासीन्महातपाः । भृगुवंश समुत्पन्नो मूर्तो वेद इवापरः
purā vedaśirā nāma munirāsīnmahātapāḥ | bhṛguvaṃśa samutpanno mūrto veda ivāparaḥ
முன்னொரு காலத்தில் வேதசிரஸ் என்னும் மகாதபஸ்வியான முனிவர் இருந்தார். அவர் ப்ருகு வம்சத்தில் பிறந்தவர்; மற்றொரு உருவமுற்ற வேதம் போலவே விளங்கினார்.
