पिंडं च तत्र निर्वाप्य हयग्रीवस्य सन्निधौ । हायग्रीवीं श्रियं प्राप्य समुच्येत सपूर्वजः
piṃḍaṃ ca tatra nirvāpya hayagrīvasya sannidhau | hāyagrīvīṃ śriyaṃ prāpya samucyeta sapūrvajaḥ
அங்கே ஹயக்ரீவரின் சந்நிதியில் பிண்டம் அர்ப்பணித்து, ஹயக்ரீவன் அருளும் ‘ஸ்ரீ’ (செல்வம், அருள்) பெறுவதால், மனிதன் தன் முன்னோர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து உயர்வடைகிறான்/உத்தரிக்கப்படுகிறான்.
