व्यतीते वासरे योयं भूकंपः समपद्यत । कंपं जनयतेऽतीव हृदो मेपि पुरौकसः
vyatīte vāsare yoyaṃ bhūkaṃpaḥ samapadyata | kaṃpaṃ janayate'tīva hṛdo mepi puraukasaḥ
முந்தைய நாளில் ஏற்பட்ட அந்த நிலநடுக்கம், ஓ நகரவாசியே, இன்றும் என் இதயத்தில் மிகுந்த நடுக்கத்தை உண்டாக்குகிறது.
