व्यास उवाच । निशामय महाप्राज्ञ लोमहर्षण वच्मि ते । यथा प्रथमतो यात्रा कर्तव्या यात्रिकैर्मुदा
vyāsa uvāca | niśāmaya mahāprājña lomaharṣaṇa vacmi te | yathā prathamato yātrā kartavyā yātrikairmudā
வியாசர் கூறினார்—மிகுந்த ஞானமுடைய லோமஹர்ஷணனே! கேள்; தொடக்கத்திலிருந்தே யாத்திரிகர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் யாத்திரையை எவ்வாறு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதை நான் உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்।
