किं मां जनकमाप्यापि त्वं रोदिषि मुहुर्मुहुः । श्रुत्वेति पृथुकः प्राह यथोक्तं परमेष्ठिना
kiṃ māṃ janakamāpyāpi tvaṃ rodiṣi muhurmuhuḥ | śrutveti pṛthukaḥ prāha yathoktaṃ parameṣṭhinā
“என்னைத் தந்தையாக அடைந்தபின்பும் நீ மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஏன் அழுகிறாய்?” என்று கேட்டதைச் செவிமடுத்த ப்ருதுகன், பரமேஷ்டி (பிரம்மா) சொன்னதற்கேற்ப பதிலுரைத்தான்।
