इति श्रीस्कांदे महापुराण एकाशीति साहस्र्यां संहितायां चतुथें काशीखंड उत्तरार्धे गंगेश्वरमहिमाख्यानं नामैकनवतितमोऽध्यायः

iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśīti sāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ catutheṃ kāśīkhaṃḍa uttarārdhe gaṃgeśvaramahimākhyānaṃ nāmaikanavatitamo'dhyāyaḥ

இவ்வாறு ஸ்ரீஸ்கந்த மஹாபுராணத்தின் ஏகாஷீதி-ஸாஹஸ்ரீ ஸம்ஹிதையின் நான்காம் பிரிவில், காசீகண்டத்தின் உத்தரார்த்தத்தில் ‘கங்கேஸ்வர மஹிமாக்யானம்’ எனப்படும் தொண்ணூற்றொன்றாம் அத்தியாயம் நிறைவுற்றது.
