जघान वासुदेवोपि तरसाऽज्ञातवेदनम् । ततः खट्वांगमादाय गदाहस्तं गदाधरम्
jaghāna vāsudevopi tarasā'jñātavedanam | tataḥ khaṭvāṃgamādāya gadāhastaṃ gadādharam
அப்போது வாசுதேவரும் மிகுந்த வேகத்துடன் அஜ்ஞாதவேதனனை வீழ்த்தினார். பின்னர் காட்வாங்கத் தண்டத்தை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு, கதையைக் கையில் கொண்ட கதாதரனைத் தாக்கினார்.
