pitṛbhyāṃ parihīnānāmitihāsa kathāvidām | tyaktāhāravihārāṇāṃ kīrāṇāṃ varado bhava

பெற்றோரற்ற, இதிகாசக் கதைகளில் தேர்ந்த, உணவும் இயல்பான அசைவும் துறந்த இக்கீரர்களுக்கு (கிளிகளுக்கு) நீர் வரம் அளிப்பவராக இருங்கள்।
